The Fohow Liuwei Cha Tea combines a centuries-old tea tradition from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with carefully selected medicinal mushrooms and herbs. Based on exquisite, aged Pu-erh tea and precious Chinese caterpillar fungus (Cordyceps sinensis), this infusion offers you a soothing respite from everyday life and gently restores balance from within.

„Liuwei“ translates as „six flavours“ or „six aromas“. Each tea bag reveals the synergistic interplay of traditional Far Eastern herbalism:

• Aged Pu-erh tea: Renowned for its full-bodied flavour and its valued role as a light and digestible accompaniment to hearty meals.
• Chinese cordyceps: The legendary medicinal mushroom used in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) to support the natural flow of energy (Qi).
• Exquisite herbal accompaniments: Astragalus (tragacanth), red-root sage, ginseng flowers and chrysanthemums round off the flavour profile in a well-balanced way.

Preparation and serving suggestions

To preserve the valuable ingredients as effectively as possible, pour hot water (no longer boiling, approx. 80–85 °C) over one Fohow Liuwei Cha tea bag. Allow the tea to steep for 2 to 3 minutes, depending on the desired strength. Thanks to the high quality of the whole-leaf and mushroom ingredients, a tea bag can easily be re-brewed 3 to 4 times throughout the day.
